Mogadishu, Somalia — Banadiria Coffee has successfully achieved certification under the internationally recognized ISO 9001:2015, marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to quality management, operational discipline, and customer satisfaction. The certification recognizes the company’s structured approach to quality assurance across its coffee roasting, packaging, supply, and café operations.
The Quality Management System (QMS) implementation was led by Lexico Inc, which served as the consulting and implementation partner throughout the certification journey. The initiative was directed by Abasi Ssonko, who acted as the lead implementer and internal auditor for the project.

The certification process involved a comprehensive series of activities designed to align Banadiria Coffee’s operations with international quality management standards. Under the leadership of Lexico Inc., the implementation included:
- Organizational Gap Analysis against ISO 9001:2015 requirements

- Development of QMS documentation, policies, and operational manuals
- Preparation of internal audit reports and corrective action processes
- Continuous monitoring and follow-up to ensure effective implementation
The final external certification audit was conducted in collaboration with Manish Kumal, representing B2C, who verified that Banadiria Coffee’s systems met the requirements of the ISO standard.
